About Cloroform

Cloroform is raw aggression and energy combined with comic book-style atrocities and super tight musicianship - a power trio in the true meaning of the word. Few bands of Cloroform's size can rival the true energy created by this fine-tuned and tightly knit unit. Double bass, drums, keys and distorted vocals form the frame for Cloroform's turbo-charged antics that defy genres and pre-conceived notions of what's possible in a trio format. The Stavanger-based band Cloroform has during the past ten years established itself as one of Norway's most respected ensembles in the genre "rhythmic" music. Our all-encompassing musical style has lead both rockers and jazzers, as well as lovers of contemporary music to embrace the band. Cloroform's live performances are of a legendary calibre and are a key factor when one tries to explain the trio's loyal following. Cloroform has played over 400 concerts and released six records. Our concerts as well as our records have received overwhelming reviews. One of our latest concerts was at last year's Roskilde Festival, where we played for an audience of 7000 fans.
