About Chris Fordham

Chris Fordham is a singer songwriter from Northamptonshire, Engalnd. He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, bass, mandolin, keyboard, autoharp, drums & harmonica. Alongside his own work he performs as a session musician in various local bands and on some recording projects. Featured on the site are his debut album 'Time Between Us', which was originaly intended as a demonstration CD and was recorded by an artist still finding musical direction. It was recorded in one day and is mainly focused on a purely acoustic guitar/vocal song showcase. This album is currently unavailable but will be made available as mp3 download soon. Chris is currently working on recordings for a second full lenght album with the working title 'Lament', demonstrations of these songs are currently on his myspace profile (http://www.myspace.com/chrisfordham496). These later songs are taking a diferent approach to song style and structure and are being recorded onto a combination of four track cassette and a laptop at his house. Following a number of demos and uploads to myspace Chris has now released an EP entitled 'Took A Walk'. It features 4-tracks of his more recent experimental sound.
