About Children Of Taliesin
Children Of Taliesin is an Armenian folk metal project, founded by Vahan "WitchKing" Avakyan (keyboards/clean male vocals) and Arthur "Spandarameth" Poghosyan (harsh male vocals) in the summer of 2008. They also invited multiinstrumentalist Bayandur Pogosyan, the leader and mastermind of Garden Of Snakes on bass, and Rouben "Metal Brain" Arevshatyan on guitar. Later Rouben brought in Gayane Roushanyan, a trained opera vocalist, to be on female vocals, then left the band to concentrate on other musical projects. The current band line-up is: Arthur "Spandarameth" Poghosyan - Screams, Frontman Gayane "Dead Angel" Rushanyan - Female Vocals Vahan "Witch King" Avakyan - Keyboards, Lead Male Vocals Bayandur "SongOfFall/Rhayader" Pogosyan - Bass Guitar, Supporting Male Vocals, Arrangements Former member(s): Ruben "Metal Brain" Arevshatyan - Guitar, Supporting Male Vocals
