About Chesca
Chesca aka Chesca Ches aka the electro boogie queen. Born and raised in Souther Italy, Chesca started her DJ career in Rome in the late 90s. She spent a few years spinning in italian clubs until some one showed her how easy it was programming beats on cool edit pro. Got into production, bought more records, put out a 7" called "Hymn" ( which won first place in the Diesel Music Contest in 2003) then one day she packed all her leopard print clothes and flew out to Los Angeles. In LA she put out two releases, one instrumentals LP and a indie rock EP called "The Lost Sticks", both available on iTunes. She performed at the Beat Invitational Night at Daddy Kev's Low End Theory Club along with Flying Lotus, and got a lil buzz going on in the scene since then. She moved to London in 2007 and along with DJs Mr Wonderful she started throwing disco parties in many clubs around the city. As a DJ, she put out a serie of mixed CD's called "Chesca's System", a blend of disco, boogie, funk and old school 80's electro. Currently she is in the studio working on her EP due to come out in January 11.
