About Cassandre
Originating from St Etienne, France, Pier and Flo have in the last couple of years created both a refined and mysterious pop musical style, drawing from a mixture of their shared influences from classical roots (Bach, Beethoven, Saint-Saëns and Chopin) to New Wave (Depeche Mode, Eurythmics and Frankie Goes to Hollywood). After appearing on the French version of 'X-Factor' where their ambitious cover of the Lady GaGa track 'Alejandro' captivated the public and judges, they followed with the release of their debut album in 2014 produced by Tiery-F (Amir, M Pokora, Slimane...) and supported by My Major Company where they still hold the record of raising funds of over 100,000 euros in only 4 days. After performing many concerts all over France with notable French acts such as Florent Mothe and Christophe Willem, as well as working on the musical creation for fashion shows by designer Eymeric François, the duo are about to release their second album 'Nous' this year featuring a more electronic sound. Inspired by Troye Sivan, and Years & Years, Cassandre are one of the male duos that the pop world knows little about: Air, Pet Shop Boys, Simon and Garfunkel... With a unique artistic identity, Cassandre take their listeners into a universe to be discovered and shared straight away.
