About Carinthia
Seaming vast mountains and seas with soft melodies and organic rhythms, Daniel Paul Jorgensen’s fascination for electronic ambient music surfaces in his creation of Carinthia; a project titled after a southern province in Austria where he spent his childhood between valleys and hills. Since then, Daniel has waded his hand in a wide spectrum of music - eventually majoring in music and percussion at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota. His guiding undercurrent is found in the truth of simply offering back what he has already been given. Knowing that just as the tide meets the shore; it will surely fall back again to join the sea. The capability for instrumental music to voice this story has been Carinthia’s attempt to tie it all together.
