About Calm Be
Calm Be aka Calm Fuel Element is the joint project of the musician Michael Peidl and the singer Katja Wirtz. From their common preference for Downbeat music the project developed in the year 2000. There are various music genre influences upon their project ranging from Trip, Hop, Pop, Lounge and Downtempo. The project uses a combination of acoustic and electronic elements with the somewhat melancholy sounding voice of Katja Wirtz. The project also gains creative support from the guitarist Peter Nikolaus. The project first published in 2002 with some tracks appearing on the Lounge Pearls Sample release by the German label Merging record.
