About Cabiria
1) Cabiria is a screamo/grindcore band from East Singapore, similar to bands like Usurp Synapse and Mara'akate. They released a 4-song CDr in 2008, with all songs clocking under a minute. 2) Cabiria is a Boston based trip-hop band who are also influenced by classical music. Their sound is centered around clasically trained vocalist Valerie Brinker and the electric violin (played by Erin McPhee). They also use guitars keyboards, electronics and drums to round out their sound. Their first EP No Time For Dreaming was realeased in March, 2007. http://www.cabiriamusic.com/ 3) Cabiria are an instrumental trio based in London, creating engrossing, cinematic post-metal music. Taking influence from the likes of Russian Circles, Toska, and ISIS, Cabiria use live looping and heaps of ambience to create their long compositions.
