There seem to be several artists / bands called Cold Turkey. Feel free to add info for some of the others. 1. Cold Turkey was a very short-lived British progressive pop band of the early 1970s, with Jimmy Horowitz as their main man. They released just one single, 1972's 'Nobody's Fool', which was in fact an unreleased, non-Kinks Ray Davies song. Cold Turkey's version of the song was such a Kinks sound-a-like (mainly due to Andy Bown's very Davies-like vocal) that many believed it to be a recording by The Kinks under a different name. Which it wasn't. The fact that it was released by Pye Records (The Kinks' record label) added to the myth.
