1. CML (camel) is a self-taught English producer since 2019, who built a tight underground community before debuting on streaming platforms with the instrumental single “DECONTRACTE.” on October 4, 2025. His strongest musical influence is the early Kanye West period, characterized by gospel lift, chipmunk soul chops, and boom bap swing. By contrast, his debut adopts a darker sound. He refers to this as his “evil mode.” 4 days later, he released his debut EP ''I FORGOT TO PRAY.'', which features his typical sound, strong sampling presence and interesting drum patterns. He is also currently developing an LP titled CML SZN. The project has been publicly teased for years, has undergone development changes in response to leaks, and is grounded in the idea of family, including the friends he brought into recording and the community he nurtured. 2. There are various international artists that share the name CML.
