About CAROL MAG
Carol Mag was born in Rome on August 12th, 1993. From a young age, she showed a great passion for music and its various aspects. She studied classical and modern piano, singing, diction and acting and received a diploma in modern jazz dance (Balletto di Roma school), in Solfège (Conservatory of Potenza) and in Compimento Inferiore (Conservatory of Santa Cecilia, Rome, Faculty of Composition). Carol's love for American Pop/R&B music pushed her to attend the Five Week Summer Program at Berklee College of Music, in 2012. Following this, she won a scholarship, which allowed her to attend Berklee fulltime as a student double majoring in Songwriting and Contemporary Writing and Production. Carol's dream is to be able to write her own songs, arrange and produce them. On November 18th 2014, Carol released her self-titled debut album, which she authored and co-authored with the Italian producer and songwriter Frank Minoia. This album shows her interest in various genres and sounds, from classical ballads, to jazz, funk, R&B and electronic dance music. Carol Mag filmed four music videos for the album, two of which have already been released: "Honey honey" and "Drowning". The other two - "Hold me now" and "You have a chance" - will be released shortly. The artist presented her album on Radio Radio in an interview with Leo Kalimba that was aired on January 3rd 2015. Carol loves art and its wonderful power of expression. She loves the liberating process of writing, and sharing her most inner-thoughts through performance. She wants to inspire people and in-turn, being inspired by them. She also loves dancing while performing. She sees herself as an artist that always grows and changes as she is inspired by different styles of music. Carol Mag performs her own songs and covers with various bands at pubs, weddings, and private parties. Carol Mag can be followed on her Facebook artist page Carol Mag, on her You Tube page, and on her website www.carolmag.com. Her album - "Carol Mag" - is available on Spotify, iTunes, and the main web channels.
