About C Cat Trance
C Cat Trance was a Nottingham-based fourth world funk band formed by John Rees Lewis in the early 1980s after he left his previous band Medium Medium. Their music was a fusion of Middle Eastern/Turkish influences with modern funk. They released four albums and seven EPs between 1983 and 1988. In 2017 two EPs were released containing remixes of old tracks, called the Screaming Remixes.
