About Bobel
BOBEL is a solo project by the Costa Rican musician Gabo QUIRÓS. The young artist set out to record his 5 track EP back in 2010 and finally achieved his goal on November 23, 2011. QUIRÓS wrote the bulk of the material on his computer and recorded most of the instrumental tracks in Miut studio, mixed and produced by Manuel Mora. The self-titled album featured the collaboration of several friends who were involved on different instances of the project, providing instrumental guest spots and production help. The result is an vibrant post metal album that reaches beyond the traditional genre limitations by bordering the outer reaches of Art Metal.
