Bobbie Eakes and Jeff Trachta were hugely popular soap stars in the 1990s, playing the characters of Thorne Forrester and Macy Spectra in the daily US soap opera "The Bold And The Beautiful". Their characters were a long-time couple in the series that revolved around competing fashion houses Forrester Creations and Spectra Fashion and the numerous love affairs of its other characters. Thorne and Macy became populair characters, which influenced most major storylines. At the height of the show's popularity, some of its stars recorded music albums and even performed live in concert. Eakes and Trachta released two duet albums in the mid-'90s, simply entitled "Bold And The Beautiful Duets" and "Duets II". The albums were especially successfull in The Netherlands, where they were also recorded, but also in various other European countries. The first album spawned two hit singles; "What's Forever For" and "Love To Love You (In The Morning)". Bobbie Eakes also recorded solo material, as well as a duet with the popular Dutch singer Rene Froger.
