About Beber
Beber is not only known for being the debut artist on Marine Parade, but also for his collaboration with Adam Freeland as Tsunami One producing one of Marine Parade's biggest tunes, 'Hip Hop Phenomenon'. A collaboration with Mikey James (Waveform) resulted in the release of 'Capricorn' under the collaboration name 9 Nickel. Originally part of Uptown Connection, Beber has a unique sound of laid-back rap and colourful grooves, toughened up with layers of electronic rumbles. Since recording for Marine Parade, Beber has gone on to produce as duo Beber and Tamra whose debut album 'Travelling On' was released on MOB. His influences include such artists as MF Doom, Kode9 & The Spaceape, Sir Victor Uwaifo, King Midas, Sound, Heligoland, Hello, My Name is Quite Nyce - Mixtape, Kid CuDi, Sade, Ian Brown - My Way, Madlib, Chris Brown, Marvin Holmes and The Uptights, Iyaz, and more...
