Balla Dear is the solitary effort of Patrick Steele, singer, songwriter in South Texas. Most of the work takes place in small moments and small amounts, between his schedule of full time job, spending time with family, and church volunteer work. The songs are mostly storylike, allegorical in meaning, and autobiographical, stemming from the idea of 'necessity vs. desire'. Balla Dear is unsigned and independent, playing shows mostly for friends and family upon request.
