About BERTRAND PLASTIC

punk rock musician born in 1976. PLASTIC BERTRAND is the recording name of Roger Jouret, a singer from Brussels, Belgium. PLASTIC BERTRAND is best known for the 1977 single "Ça plane pour moi" which was released just one month after Elton Motello's "Jet Boy, Jet Girl", which has the same backing track in UK. While credited to PLASTIC BERTRAND, the original recording "Ça plane pour moi" was sung by the song's producer, Lou Deprijck. PLASTIC BERTRAND has released ten albums since 1977 and represented Luxembourg in the 1987 Eurovision Song Contest. Its debut album sounded closer to punk rock but just in the second album and the precedents Roger Jouret made songs more new wave, synth-pop or even a bit "disco" oriented and late 80s, he recorded even techno, house and electronic music. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Plastic-Bertrand-Fan-Page-Officielle/139562436080568 http://www.plasticbertrand.com/ https://twitter.com/Plasticbertrand https://myspace.com/plasticbertrandofficial/bio http://www.discogs.com/artist/67618
