Ben Ricour (http://www.benricour.com) is young singer-songwriter and guitar player from Paris, who has a habit of taking off his shoes during concerts. With his left foot he plays the cajon, a percussion instrument from South America. With his right foot he operates a sampler! At the age of 30, Ben Ricour is at ease with his love of folk music and alternates dazzling guitar playing, sometimes acoustic, soul rhythms and laid back swing. He has hatched a first album, L’Aventure, on which lyricist Pierre Grillet (Bashung, Dani, Chamfort) has supplied the words. Charming and tender, a fragile voice and suave melodies, Ben Ricour has more than one trick up his sleeve.
