There are at least three different artists called Bel. 1. Hailing from the small town of Clovis, California, United States, Isabel Whelan a.k.a. BEL is an American indie singer songwriter. She crafts nostalgic songs with honesty and attention to detail, occupying the intersection of indie rock, pop and folk, while taking cues from the likes of Stevie Nicks, Joni Mitchell and Mazzy Star. Het debut single, 'Silver Line', came out in 2020, her debut EP, Muscle Memory, in 2021. More singles and two more EPs ensued. 2. Bel is a Croatian jazz sextet with the intention of creating music that will relax your mind and delight your senses. Bel is a band that currently expresses itself through jazz - playing jazz standards and jazzy interpretations of popular music, but its creative musical kitchen cooks up new dishes as well. Members: Katarina Zovak (vocal), Matija Kovačić (keyboards / piano), Stjepan Perković (bass guitar), Mario Klarić (drums / percussion), Marin Murganić (guitar), Marko Šimunić (saxophone). 3. Bel is also a Polish hip hop / rap project.
