About Bēdu Brāļi
Bēdu Brāļi is a Latvian alternative rock band from Rīga, Latvia. They are known for an atmospheric, "unpolished" sound that blends elements of shoegaze, post-punk, and psychedelic rock. They have released several works, including the studio albums Duende (2022) and Lauskas (2025), and singles such as Pieskaries and Ikdienas dzīve. The band was shortlisted for the Austras balva, which is Latvia's equivalent of the Mercury Music Prize. Current members: Oskars Tupuriņš - guitars, vocals; Jānis Liepiņš (Tribes of the City) - bass; Pēteris Ozols - drums.
