About Autmind
Autmind trio was formed in the summer of 2006, by three old mates: Zlatko Cekov, Igor Atanasoski – Hare, and Zarko Pejkovski... Although they work together in this formation for the first time, all of them have a very solid music background. Hare as a lead guitar player of Bankrot Blues Bend, Arhangel, Ezgija orchestra…... Cekov on the other hand has had cooperation with the Serafimovski brothers, Venko and Vasko, on several studio projects, and lately with Mizar…Z’ba spent a short period as a lead singer in SunS; at the same time he’s active as a Dj, mostly playing psy-progressive on numerous trance parties all over Macedonia... All of this of course influences the bend’s sound, which they characterize as “a modern vocal-electronic dance expression” and is mostly based on powerful progressive beats supported by vintage guitar funky sound and lots of VST screwtinizers... The band works in a very basic home recording PC based studio, Cekov as a midi programmer and technical support, Pejkovski programming and vocals, Atanasoski composing, guitar and vocals… Two female vocalists – Tatjana T. D. and Iskra Srbinovska are also featured in some of the band’s songs… In the past two years Autmind promoted four songs on the local radio stations that have proven to be quite a success, which on the other hand encouraged the band to continue their dedicated work on the debut album – expected to be released in the autumn of 2009 by PMG Rec.
