About At-Tambur
Formed in 1999, At-Tambur initially dedicated to the animation balls of European traditional dances - where the public habitually dances to the rhythm of music to the living creature, learning and assaying steps of some traditional styles. Throughout this its musical experience, At-Tambur was then creating a repertoire destined to the concerts, starting to count on some voices and instrumentistas invited. Inspired by the Portuguese traditions and the ones of other stoppings; it is left to influence for the taste of old music, the classic or the jazz - through the creation and of the choice of a repertoire that defies, in its interpretation, the arrangements and the mixture of all these genres! At-Tambur currently is Gonçalo Carneiro (Drums), João Simas (Guitar), José Miguel (Sanfona and Concertina), Luís Sousa (Contrabass), Simas Daisy (Voice), Tiago Coasta (Flutes), Francisca Sampaio Fins (Violin), counting still on the special participation of Celina Piedade (Accordion).
