About Astralis

There are more than one artists with this name. 1. Astralis is the name of a Chilean progressive rock band, created in the year 1999. The six symphonic pieces that make up the album Bienvenida Al Interior (2006) are composed by the guitarist Patricio Vera-Pinto. It's music mostly inspired by Pink Floyd and bands such as Marillion and Pendragon. The long and complex pieces are developing into lively instrumental sequences. Beautiful melodies, lyrical guitar soli, fluid keyboards parts and singing in Spanish. 2. Astralis is one of the aliases of the UK trance producer, Rob Stevenson (better known as Activa). Under Astralis guise he produces harder, techno influenced tracks.
