About Aston Kais
Aston Kais (formerly using the name Grupa Harijs) is a Latvian progressive rock/psychedelic rock band from Liepāja, Latvia, formed in 2019, consisting of eight friends and multi-instrumentalists with a knack for polyrhythms and odd time signatures. Influenced by the likes of Rush, Hawkwind, Mahavishnu Orchestra and even the modern classic King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, the band try to recreate the same excitement and intrigue that these prog rock greats offered. Current members: Harijs Ločmelis – vocals, trumpet, guitars; Laima Grasmane – vocals; Vita Liepiņa – vocals; Marks Jonatans Runds (Ede, Martas Asinis, Rundfunk) – guitars, synthesizers; Roberts Lanka – guitars, synthesizers; Katrīne Sabīne Kalniņa (DZ) – saxophones, flute; Rūdolfs Turnelis – bass; Salvis Mass – drums, percussion. http://www.facebook.com/astonkais
