About Arszyn
Krzysztof Topolski – drummer, sound artist, “housewife”. He has cooperated and played with many musicians, bands and music projects: RogulusXSzewelas Project, Kobiety, Emiter, M.bunio.S., Mikolaj Trzaska, Tomasz Szwelnik, Muk, Beatrix von Shreader, Hoec, Dj Wojak, Thomas Lehn, Andrew Sharplay, Wojtek Mazolewski. He is a cofounder of the band Ludzie (Folks) and Pracowni Ludzie Gdansk (The Folks Workshop). Arszyn is Krzystof Topolski’s solo project, and has released the following CDs: ‘Z werszkow pierwszy’ (nefryt ‘ 02), ‘Unitas Multiplex’ (tns rec.rxs/plg rec. ‘ 04), Emiter.Arszyn.Emiszyn (Monotype Rec. 2005), Emiter.Arszyn 07.05.05 (Monotype Rec.2005), Emiter.Arszyn 07.11.05 (audio tong 2006). He is interested in live drumming, live electronic, improvised and electroacoustic music, makes computer compositions and sound installations. Organises lectures and presentations about new music and experimental music workshops. His most recent album Polymer, a self-produced collaboration with keyboard player Tomasz Szwelnik, was released in 2012.
