About Arcane Winter
Arcane Winter are a Post Punk Goth band from Nottingham featuring members and former members of Every New Dead Ghost, The Realm and Midnight Configuration. With influences as diverse as Chrome and Hawkwind to Killing Joke and Siouxsie and The Banshees their sound is a different take on early gothic rock. Already having been dubbed "a gothic grand guinol" Arcane Winter mix traditional positive punk attitudes with a gothic sensibility to sublime effect. With Midnight Configuration on hiatus, Arcane Winter is a back-to-basics band, that traditional guitar-vocal-bass-drums organic sound, a deliberate step away from programmed beats and industrial guitars. http://www.arcanewinter.net/index.html
