Anthropic is a grindcore band from Buffalo, NY. They formed in the year 2015. The band currently consists of Chris Hull (vocals), Norm Ventura (guitars), Matt Whissel (guitars), Russ Martin (bass) and Jim Santillo (drums). Past members include Derrick Kowalski (vocals), Brian Pattison (guitars), Jeff Budziszewski (guitars), Norm Ventura (guitars) and Andy Burns (bass). Jimi Voelker (guitars) is a past member who only played live for Anthropic. Two past members are deceased. Budziszewski died of colon cancer on September 4, 2018. Pattison died of COVID-19 and pneumonia on November 28, 2020. The band has released one demo, one EP, one compilation, two splits and two full-length albums. They are currently signed to CDN Records and released their 2nd album through that label on February 24, 2023.
