There are few groups/musicians with the name Animal Style... 1. Joey Mariano has been making electronic music since the year 2000 and playing guitar since 1991. Trained as a jazz guitarist, Joey first gained critical acclaim for his unique guitar style with his early experiments in improvised music. Recently, under the alias animal-style, he has been writing chiptune music on programs like Nanoloop, LSDJ, and famitracker. Along with popularizing the 8bit fuzz guitar pedal (FXDoctor.com) by intertwining catchy melodies with crafty guitar riffs, Mariano has also spent some time bridging the gap between classical music and chip tunes with realeases like Gameboy Madrigals. Inventor of the Gameboy Foot Controller, he continues to innovate the live performance of chip music through improvisation and creativity. 2.
