Anima Hereticae is a melodic death metal band from Finland. Founded by Ville Rutanen, Taneli Jämsä and Teppo Ristola it features members of such bands as Red Moon Architect, Aeonian Sorrow, Lost In Grey & Frosttide. Bands music explores the beautify and ruthlessness of the Northern nature and it’s mystic and occultist nature. Musically inspiration is drawn from both Folky soundscape of Nordic elegy and modern blackened death metal sound.
