About Aguilera Christina
Christina María Aguilera (born December 18, 1980) is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and television personality. She is recognized for her vocal range, artistic reinvention, and the incorporation of varied themes into her music, and has received broad public and critical attention throughout her career. She has been referred to as the "Voice of a Generation" and was named a Disney Legend for her contributions to the Walt Disney Company. After appearing on "The All New Mickey Mouse Club" (1993–1994), Aguilera recorded the song "Reflection" for the animated film "Mulan" (1998) and subsequently signed with RCA Records. She rose to prominence in 1999 with her self-titled debut album "Christina Aguilera", which topped the US Billboard 200 and produced three US Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles: "Genie in a Bottle", "What a Girl Wants", and "Come on Over Baby (All I Want Is You)". She later adopted a more provocative artistic direction with "Stripped" (2002), followed by the retro-inspired "Back to Basics" (2006), which became her second number-one album in the United States. During this period she achieved further international success with songs including "Lady Marmalade", "Dirrty", "Beautiful", and "Ain't No Other Man". In the early 2010s, Aguilera featured on the internationally successful singles "Moves like Jagger", "Feel This Moment", and "Say Something"; the first of these reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, making her among the artists to top the chart across three consecutive decades. She also starred in the film "Burlesque" (2010) and contributed to its soundtrack, receiving a Golden Globe Award nomination. Her additional work includes appearances in the television series "Nashville" (2015), roles in the films "The Emoji Movie" (2017) and "Zoe" (2018), serving as an ambassador for the World Food Programme, co-founding the company Playground, and acting as a coach on the television competition series "The Voice" (2011–2016). Aguilera is among the best-selling music artists, with sales exceeding 100 million records worldwide. She has been named by Billboard among the most successful artists of the 2000s and listed by Rolling Stone among the greatest singers. She has also been identified as an influential figure among Latin artists in the entertainment industry and released two Spanish-language albums, including "Mi Reflejo" (2000), which became the best-selling Latin pop album of that year. Time included her in its list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2013. Her awards include five Grammy Awards, two Latin Grammy Awards, six ALMA Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards, a Billboard Music Award, a Guinness World Record, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
