About Alfalfa

The Russian experimental project Alfalfa consists of Борода (clarinet, beard) and Моночувак of later В.О.М. IV (guitar, грибо). Currently it presented by live/improv psyche-trip, recorded in city of Suzdal, Russia. Music could be described as drone, as experimental, as any colour u like, or as outapants-rock. In any case this mini-album is worth of listening just to get acquainted with another one side of Russian contemporary experimental scene. Alfalfa is also the name of a short-lived band founded by William Ranson (aka Vex Billingsgate) of the band Suburban Lawns, which released one single, "Lucky Guy b/w "Jewels" in 1985.
