STOP REDIRECT to «the music machine» !!! Johann Delferiere is the man behind the Music Machine (Bruxelles, Belgium). Having already made a name for himself as DJ Kovak, DJ No.9 or La Mission 9, and for his Bic Music series, Johann is a DJ, producer, sound engineer and multi-instrumentalist. My best guess is that he was diagnosed as hyper-kinetic as a child. His music is sequence based, but as a confirmed instrumentalist he spends a great deal of time on the drums, the bass and the guitar. When playing live Johann devotes himself mainly to the drums, while Deflowered and Deed play the bass and the keyboards respectively. Music Machine blends retro electronic sounds with Electro, Funk, Hip Hop and Dubstep, and serves it with a slice of humour and the resolve to make you dance. As he’s hyper-productive, making tunes like most wear shirts, Johann insists on the perishable virtues of his music, a style he coins as a “Concept Jetable”, which translates as a “Disposable Concept”.
