About A Devil's Din

A Devil’s Din is a three-man musical force that transcends duality and eclipses boundaries creating a sound that is both timeless and contemporary. A dark and heavy psychedelic world meets a subtle progressive sophistication, while melodies dig hard like alien ear-worms. Fuzzed out guitars expand over rolling bass and thunderous drums on a musical journey that both engages and challenges the mind and soul. Formed in 2008 by David Lines, a Montreal-based multi-instrumentalist and session player, A Devil’s Din has been steadily establishing itself as a dynamic and powerful live band in the ever-expanding sea of mind-altered/ing rock music coming out of the city. Switching between his SG and his classic keyboard set up, he is supported by the mighty rhythmic duo of Tom Chollet on bass and Saul Solis on drums, A Devil’s Din are a musical force to be reckoned with. Currently in studio working on their second album, “One Day All This Will Be Yours”, the debut record by A Devil’s Din, was officially released in June 2011 and has been steadily growing in popularity in the underground music community. Lorraine Carpenter, then-music editor of the Montreal Mirror described it as, “Rock ’n’ roll on the timeless precipice of psychedelic, progressive, transgressive danger. Be warned.”
