About 55 Frets
55 Frets was formed in a Junior High School in Bali, Indonesia. While we started playing music as a hobby that rapidly transformed into our passion, which has driven us until where we are now. With our diverse cultural background, variety of musical tastes, and belief that there is no boundary to expression, our music can fit into many different genres, so we say ‘It is what it is’. Our reputation quickly grew as a “different band” and we played alongside top artists in Indonesia such as Navicula, S.I.D, Slank, Godbless, (etc) for many different events such as World Peace Day, Keep Bali Green, Kuta Karnival, and many other venues. Once we graduated from school we decided to take our dreams to the next level and headed to Europe. We simply hope for our music to reach and affect others, and that they may enjoy it as we do.
