Band of rock-reggae-rap of Rio de Janeiro.Brazil The Rio 161 band brings the rock, reggae and rap the contrast between the appropriate sound to hear from the seafront, with the peripheral rap. Instigated by the challenge of playing the music you want to hear, they carry the strong presence of its references with originality and impact letters. His first training began in the garage of drummer Leticia Santos, in mid-2011, guided by a risky project with bassist Daniel Cardoso, who proposed to make a virtuous and heavy instrumental. This project resulted in a CD released in January 2013 entitled "Instruction-metal" available on youtube. Later, with the accession of vocalist Gabriel Bastos, this project came to an end and, more recently, with the guitar Victor Fonseca, the band 161 adopted its current lineup. The presence of female representative in the band is an atypical case, because their contact with the sticks began to 4 years. In its long history, the most relevant facts are the interview in which he participated in Jô Soares program, at 6 years old and, at age 7, was the winner of the Xuxa Program Talent Festival. Also it is presented in Domingão Faustão to 9 years, and more recently, in RockStreet Rock In Rio 2013. Influenced by bands like Charlie Brown Jr, Sublime, 311, NoFX and rapper's old and new school, Daniel Cardoso and Gabriel Bastos carry the challenge of writing songs that show commitment and unique quality of all who make up the band, causing reactions pleasurable in its various manifestations in those who hear them. The band is currently working on the tour of their debut album, entitled "Um Troféu Para Todo Fel".
