About 梟
梟 (Fukuro) is a Japanese Visual kei band formed in 2021. The band made its first public appearance on September 6, 2021, and quickly established itself within the modern visual kei scene through a mix of theatrical aesthetics, emotional lyricism, and heavy alternative rock influences. Their first major release, Fukuro no Mori, arrived later that year, followed by the single ADULT CHILDREN in January 2022 and Dramaturgy in October 2022. In 2023, Fukuro expanded its profile with the release of 「Minna no Uta」 and the accompanying live history photobook Minna no uta, documenting performances and activities from 2022 to 2023. The band continued its momentum with Hoshi naki yoru in June and MINORITY・MINORITY in October. On October 22, 2023, Fukuro announced its first overseas performances: a three-date West Coast tour in California scheduled for summer 2024. The group made its American debut on July 8, 2024, at Silverlake Lounge in Los Angeles, followed by performances at The Ivy Room in San Francisco on July 10 and Brick by Brick in San Diego on July 12. The experience was later documented in the behind-the-scenes release Road to America Fukuro West Coast Tour Behind the Scenes in September 2024. Later that year, the band released ROAD TO THE FUTURE. Fukuro remained active throughout 2025 with a steady series of releases, including MOM! in April, Smells Like Human Diner in July, and Chou ka Ga in September alongside the photobook Chou ka Ga, which chronicled the band’s live history from 2023 to 2025. The year concluded with the release of UTOPIA in November. In 2026, Fukuro continued its evolution with Kirei wa kitanai, kitanai wa kirei in March, followed by CHOCOLATE WAR on May 19, 2026. In July 2026 they toured Europe with their “Fukuro ROAD TO EUROPE” Tour, which consisted of six dates. The tour started in Slovakia on July 9 and continued to Germany, France, the UK, Italy, and Poland. They are part of the art kei subgenre.
