Cairokee (Arabic: كايروكي) is a band from Cairo, Egypt. Their name is inspired by the words Cairo and Karaoke and means singing along with Cairo. The band officially formed in the year 2003 and ever since then has performed live in various venues. The idea of playing music and performing live was a childhood dream for all the members of the band. Members: Amir Eid (vocals and guitar) Sherif Hawary (lead guitar and vocals) Tamer Hashem (drums) Sherif Mostafa (keyboards) Mohamed Adam (guitar)
