Лика Стар (aka Lika Star, Lika, Lika MC). Real name Лика Павлова (Lika Pavlova) was born in Moscow, Russian Federation at 3th September 1973. In school years Lika was successful in swimming sport. In 1990 with help and supporting from DJ Фонарь she started her DJ career. She was 1st female DJ in USSR at that time. In age 17 she started to sing and record own songs. Her first vinyl disc (at 1990 CD format been rarely in USSR) "RAP" been very popular in USSR. She get a trend in hip-hop and dance music. Two big singles from this album: Bi-Bi Taxi and Lonely Moon. "Одинокая Луна" (Lonely Moon) is still most popular Lika Star's song. Her second album "Falling Angel" was recorded with estonian electronic project Action Directe. Most song in techno-dance style. By some reason this album never reached music shops. All 10 000 copies of this album srored in Lika's home. Only one song "Falling Angel" in duet with Владимир Пресняков (Vladimir Presnaykov) been aired on radio stations. Anyway this album show growing talent of artist and it been very quality music work. Next album was released in 1996 with Andrey Postovalov. In rave era. All song in hard beat, happy hardcore style. First single "Разве есть, что-то больше чем Любовь" is been first CD-single in Russia that released by magazines. After big pause in her career she's back in 2000 with album "Я" (I am). But in these years all music business in Russia not welcomed Lika. Last work is a single "Крутим-мутим" released in 2008.
