Akim Apachev (real name - Akim Vladimirovich Gasanov) is a Russian musician, rapper and former war correspondent. He was born on April 4, 1985 in Zhdanov (now Mariupol), Donetsk region. After the events of 2014, he moved to Donetsk, where he took up journalism and music, covering military topics and social problems. Previously, he worked as a special correspondent, covering events in Donbass and Syria. In 2021, he released his debut album "Donbass Speaks", which brought him fame. Popular compositions include "Harvest", "Summer and Crossbows", "Armata" (with Yulia Chicherina) and "Plive Kacha" (with Daria Frey). He calls his style "landsknecht-hip-hop", combining heroic images, national identity and modern music. In recent years, he has focused on music, founded the first military radio station "Arbalet FM". His work is dedicated to historical and social conflicts, which makes him a prominent figure in contemporary Russian music.
