Černá is a Intrumental/ Post black metal/ Alternative solo project founded in early 2011 by Cody McCoy. Based out of Kalamazoo Michigan, USA, "Černá is a musical expression of the many elements missing in modern music today.. Of course this is from a personal stand point." Says, Cody. Creating intrumental music brings alot of opportunity to take off in melody with the array of different instruments. Conceptually Černá deals with the climb of everyday life and its devastating realism, melancholy, nostalgia, and self-reflection yet taking a lot of inspiration from the beauty of the ever changing seasons along with the concept of love and loss. These are things that everyone can relate to whether they want to embrace it or not.
