tsubi club (born 14 July 1999), short for tsunami bitch club, and also known as soren, is a hyperpop artist based in Los Angeles, California. Previously known as Biskwiq they were most known for their collaborations with Aries, Forrest. and Khai Dreams. They stopped releasing music under the artist name Biskwiq in 2020, last featuring on the song High Strung by Atwood. On October 14, 2021, soren released their first single under the new tsubi club name, titled burbank house, with an accompanying music video premiering the same day. The track gained a lot of traction, reaching 3 million Spotify streams by July 2022 and bringing tsubi club up to 160,000 monthly Spotify listeners. On November 6, 2021, an official remix of burbank house, titled re:burbank.house was released exclusively to tsubi club's Soundcloud. In July 2022, tsubi club opened for Aries' Believe in Me tour in Australia and New Zealand. Additionally, tsubi club performed live at all dates of Aries' WUNDERWORLD FEST during November 2022 on the United States east coast, stopping in Montclair, Philadelphia, and Boston. On May 2, 2023, tsubi club was featured on the song PAVEMENT by Atwood, credited under the artist name soren. It is the only time they have released music under this name. The song was later featured on Atwood's second album F***** UP! released on October 24, 2023. In mid-2022, tsubi club started teasing their second single, laced up with multiple snippets of the song and music video being posted on their social media pages throughout 2022. The song eventually saw official release 2 years later, with a 9 minute long short film acting as a music video for the song releasing on July 31, 2024. The film, featuring soren as the protagonist, explored a story, as well as experimental and unique animation styles. The song released to streaming services a day later on August 1, 2024. Additionally, the extended 9 minute version of the song featured in the film, was released as a B side to the single as laced up (director's cut) to streaming services on September 5, 2024. On October 3, 2024, tsubi club released the re: remix EP. This included a new official remix of laced up, titled re:laced.up, as well as the previous re:burbank.house which saw it's first release to streaming services with this EP. On November 5, 2024, tsubi club released THE THIRD EYE for the FLCL Reanimated Musical Mechanica soundtrack. The song is a cover of The Third Eye by japanese alternative rock bank The Pillows, originally released in 2006. The song was eventually included on the FLCL Reanimated Presents: Musical Mechanica Volume 2 (Cover) compliation album released on April 18, 2025. Two years later in February 2026, tsubi club announced that they would be opening for Aries' GLASS JAW World Tour across Ireland, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Australia between April and May 2026. On April 1, 2026, tsubi club announced their first album trinket would release on April 8, 2026. The release date coincided with their first performance on the GLASS JAW World Tour at the Academy in Dublin, Ireland. The album is 12 tracks and is 28 minutes long, containing entirely new material. Most tracks on the album feature narration from actor Daniel Riordan, best known for his work voice acting for the character Alduin in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The album was mixed by fellow hyperpop artist tracey brakes, with additional writing credits from Chi Duong, Stu Robinson, Ray Sequoya, and Louis Cole.
