'transcription of organ music' is the musical project of Tasmanian visual artist/musician Damon Bird. Live performances are either solo, or feature other musicians such as Michael Valentine (Love In, The Shuttle, Que), and Andy Brazendale (Our Sails). transcription of organ music shows have been happening in Hobart and Melbourne since 2007. A small bunch of limited edition cdr releases have been made, as well as one 'studio' album entitled 'Songs from the Great Lake' (2009), which featured some of the songs originally released in lo-fi form on the limited edition cdr 'The Custom of the Sea' (2007).
