The Goodbye Session from Dayton/Lima, Ohio now known as Hit the Lights. "The Goodbye Session is a three piece rock band from Lima Ohio. Originally formed in the summer of 2000 under the name Headliner, The Goodbye Session became complete in November 2001 with the addtion of Omar Zehery on bass. This achieved their full line up with Colin Ross on vocal and guitar duties and Reymundo Ortiz Jr on drums. The band began work on their first demo three months later and released it in March of 2002. The bands influences range from an wide taste in music and brings forth a style that is 100% their own. Tieing pop sensibilities, melody, style and flow to their emotion-fueled, angst-ridden rock with pasionate, heartfelt lyrics and an energetic live show that sets these boy wonders apart from the rest. The band, armed with charisma, charm and good looks is currently booking an east coast tour and planning to head back into the recording studio to record a follow up to their first ep. The Goodbye Session combines three dedicated musicians whose friendship and love for music ties them together to create what they love most."
