About superimposer

"Now, there is something a bit quirky about this band it's a quirkiness that brings a rather infectious sound to the table. Superimposer are, as they say themselves, an alternative prog rock band from Bristol "and beyond". I couldn't think of any better way to describe their sound it's definitely very progressive and it is alternative rock. Every song is finely crafted and cleverly composed avoiding an air of confusion around where the song is going. It's all very technical and unique it makes for a very positive contribution to modern prog rock, with intelligent composition not only have this band managed to formulate something that shows off their talents in songwriting to such a prestigious level but they have created something that is actually fairly decent appealing to more people than your average prog rock fan looking for instrumental mastery and a mass of complexity. " "Superimposer have created some great tracks and even though they are only demos they are of top quality. They're not trying to follow the crowd with this sound though it is completely unique and is also extremely infectious with strange timings creating a powerful but quirky groove separating each song from the other and leaving us to slowly be taken in by the music. It is clear that everyone in this band can really play and they can really write a song rich in melody and complex structure. The sound can be at times euphoric and then again the music can become quite intense and heavy. As well as the obvious mastery of their instrument from each member we can clearly tell that Superimposer are in sync with each other. Each member has so much character within their playing but they manage to mix so well keeping the music on the same wavelength." "At times I don't know how to connect to this music, I feel as though I can connect to it on many ways, I would go as far as saying that it connects on a spiritual level as well as emotional. There is so much to the music it would be unfair to say limit it's expressive value. The vocals can be seen as quite haunting but they are again just so expressive it would be unfair to really limit them. A huge and complex atmosphere is created by every instrument in such a well characterised manner. " "Superimposer are a band to keep an eye on with a sound that really pushes the boundaries of music that bit further. It's grunge meets prog with a bit of industrial/techno effects forming a completely unique listening experience and it's expressive value is limitless! It's pretty badass really!" - http://mosherjoes.blogspot.co.uk/ https://soundcloud.com/superimposer https://www.facebook.com/pages/Superimposer/431546123631288
