St. Louis is thriving with talented musicians. From Mississippi Nights to the Creepy Crawl, there will always be local bands performing everywhere and all the time. In no particular order, Jaclyn Mayer, Dustin Keller, Grant Essig, Eric Cooper, and Jeremiah Miller of the band Sevenstar created energetic and upbeat alternative/indie rock that all fans of any music genre can appreciate. After releasing two self-released albums "Superstar Wraparound" and "Everything Isn't Everything", the band called it quits in 2005 to pursue other personal and musical goals. Mayer (bass) now plays for a California-based band called Movie Star Kiss. Essig (guitar/vox) is now working on his solo project, fittingly titled Grant Essig. Both can be found on MySpace.
