Having resided in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, China, for fourteen years, Sterzel's videos delve into diverse topics encompassing Chinese politics and his personal experiences of life in the country. Beginning his video uploads in China in 2007, he transitioned into a full-time vlogger in 2016, predominantly offering insights into his perspective on life in China. In collaboration with fellow YouTuber Matthew Tye (Laowhy86) and other friends, Sterzel embarked on extensive motorcycle journeys across China, creating documentary series like "Conquering Southern China" and "Conquering Northern China" on their joint channel ADVChina.
