rotting in dirt is a North Carolina based chaotic metal band that began playing together in 2018. While initially envisioned as a studio project due to distance between members, they began playing locally in 2019 prior to the COVID pandemic. In 2020 they recorded and released a 3-song EP entitled “///“ before falling into an indefinite hiatus. 2022 finds rotting in dirt re-emerging with new members, new music, and a renewed sense of unrest to be focused into their discordant sounds.
