Robby Maria & The Silent Revolution offer you a wild, uncertain world. Aside the comfortable illusion of safety nothing is set and we are truly alive. The group was born when singer Robby Maria and drummer Anni Müller - who had met in a Berlin shared apartment - recruited bassist Simon Birkholz during the summer of 2008. Though several guitarists auditioned for the new collective none could furnish the group's needs as effectively as the three themselves. Their unusual sound created by Simon's soloing bass, Robby’s significant songwriting including spoken & screamed poetry in songs and Anni's dynamically rich & tight grooves turn the Trio into one of the most exciting and unique appearances on the new Berlin music scene.
