POOLHOOVER Adrian Gawłowski a.k.a. Nel, Kiruk, and Suture Navigator Bartosz Przybylak a.k.a. DJ Cruzoe and Garbiszmiucho They have always been passionate about music with different styles and roots, Adrian has been influenced by early music, jazz, ethnic music and experimental electronics, in 2000 started producing his own electronics, he has also got a musical academy background, while Bart has been developing his experience as a DJ in a minimalistic way, focused on units of sound and electroacoustic vibrations. They both met on February 2009 and since that time Poolhoover began. In a studio as well as on a stage they use the same tools, Adrian plays recorders, synths and PC. Bart keeps his turntables path and also composes and remixes. Both artists are teachers of foreign languages. That is how they met and that as a result led to translate their ideas into the language of music. All the Poolhoover's productions were composed by Adrian, he has honed his musical production skills with his usual instruments, creating a fusion of digital sound manipulation with acoustic instruments, organic textures and melodic passages. Bart is an integrated part of the band, gluing everything on stage into a consistent unity, being responsible for the technical background and sound performance. Their collaborative work can be seen in independent stages, clubs or pubs. Emphasis lies not only in sound but also in the help of Agniespies as a VJ. Their artistic aim is to create an audiovisual powerful experience.
