About moledebater
moledebater was started in the last week of 2011 when maddy and dan met for the first time since high school after being assured by mutual friends that they would get along and should play music together. they wrote something like 76 songs over the course of their nearly 6 years as a band, self-releasing all of it. sometimes multiple releases per year. they were known for their feedback-laden sets of varying lengths and qualities, playing at least once a month in the regional scene that had formed between brandon-winnipeg-kenora at the time. everything from standard bar shows to illegal generator shows, there was seemingly no opportunity too stupid for moledebater to turn down. they did two tours of western canada before shifting priorities led to the band breaking up in 2017. all music remains free to download on bandcamp or by requesting a zip file from the band via email.
